Important Information for Your NEW Engine:
In order to help protect your remanufactured engine investment you purchased with ICOM, there are some things to consider prior to installing the engine:
- ICOM requires that a new water pump, radiator and oil cooler be installed as well as spark plugs and wires. Failure to provide proof could result in a voided warranty.
- Make sure all parts and hoses are clean from any harmful material that may cause engine failure.
- Please inspect that the engine received is, in fact, the correct one ordered. ICOM will not be responsible for removal or re-installation costs.
- Make sure engine are turned in the correct direction before installation.
Our remanufactured engines are shipped out with heat tabs. Please advise owners or drivers that in the event the vehicle starts overheating they want to stop driving it and avoid further overheating as this may result in a voided warranty.
Engine Tags
Your Remanufactured Engine will come with tags as applicable. These (3) three tags ensure engine safety and caution when installing the remanufactured engine. Please read carefully. If you have any questions, please contact ICOM North America.
